80-Year-Old Woman Injured in San Antonio Crash on Martin Luther King Drive
San Antonio, Texas (November 3, 2022) – An 80-year-old woman was injured after a car crashed into a home early Thursday morning in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The wreck occurred just after midnight in the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Drive.
San Antonio Police said a Nissan was speeding when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto the street. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which went over a curb and slammed into the house.
The 80-year-old woman who was inside the home was pinned beneath the vehicle. She was extricated by emergency personnel and taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the Nissan fled the scene. A passenger in the Nissan was trapped inside the vehicle.
Authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
