Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run on Roosevelt Avenue in San Antonio

Woman Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Roosevelt Avenue near Mission Road

San Antonio, Texas (April 3, 2020) – A woman was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s South Side near Mission San Jose, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:00 p.m. on April 2, on Roosevelt Avenue near Mission Road.

According to the police, the woman was walking on Roosevelt Avenue in a crosswalk when she was hit by a northbound white or silver pickup truck. The driver didn’t stop after the accident.

The woman was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, where she later died. Her name has not been released.

The vehicle was described as a Ford F-150 or a Dodge Ram.

The police are looking for the driver, who, if found, will face a charge of failing to stop and render aid.

The crash closed the intersection.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
