Man Killed in Street Racing Crash on West Davis Street in Dallas

One Killed and One Injured in Dallas Street Racing Crash on West Davis Street

Dallas, Texas – A man was killed and another person was injured Thursday evening in a street racing crash in western Dallas, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:10 p.m., January 11, in the 4700 block of West Davis Street.

Police said the man was driving a sedan eastbound and was street-racing another vehicle when he lost control of the sedan and crashed into an SUV.

After the initial crash, a truck crashed into the SUV.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The occupants of the truck were not seriously injured.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
