Marcos Stone Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident at Amarillo Boulevard West and Ong Street

Amarillo, Texas (September 5, 2023) – A man was fatally hit by an SUV Thursday night in Amarillo, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 10:15 p.m., August 31, at Amarillo Boulevard West and Ong Street.

According to the report, an SUV was traveling westbound when Marcos Stone, 31, tried to run across the street in front of the SUV.

The SUV driver was not able to stop in time and struck Stone.

Stone was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

The Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
