David Koehavong Killed in Ector County Pedestrian Accident on Loop 338

Ector County, Texas (June 20, 2022) – A Georgia man was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Ector County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 2:20 a.m., June 18, on Loop 338 at milepost 284.

DPS said David Koehavong, 31, of Rossville, Georgia, was intoxicated and was in the roadway when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Koehavong was killed in the crash.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The DPS is investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS or the Texas Department of Public Safety at 432-498-2131.
