Keith Holt Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on I-20 in Grand Prairie

Keith Holt ID’d as Tow Truck Driver Killed in Grand Prairie Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 20
Grand Prairie, Texas (January 5, 2019) – The tow truck driver who was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Thursday night on a Grand Prairie freeway has been identified as Keith Holt, 46, according to the police.
The deadly accident took place at about 11:30 p.m. January 3, in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20, near the South Great Southwest Parkway overpass.
Police said Holt was preparing to tow the car of a stranded motorist, a woman with a child in the back seat when a white Nissan struck him.
Holt was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver fled the scene heading westbound toward Arlington.
Police said the Nissan sustained damage to the front right portion around the headlight.
Police closed the westbound lanes for several hours as they investigated the crash. The lanes were reopened at about 3:45 a.m.
The police are investigating the crash.
