40-Year-Old Cyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on West Mt. Houston Road in Houston

40-Year-Old Killed in North Houston Bicycle Accident on West Mt. Houston Road at Interstate 45

Houston, Texas (May 13, 2022) – A 40-year-old cyclist was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run accident in north Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:00 a.m., May 12, on West Mt. Houston Road underneath Interstate 45 North

Police said the cyclist was pedaling westbound in the eastbound lanes when a vehicle hit him head-on.

The driver fled the scene after the crash.

The cyclist was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

The police are investigating the crash.
