Ulysses Romero Killed, Esbeidy Linares Injured in Harris County Tow Truck Crash on West Little Road near Cunningham Road 

Harris County, Texas (February 13, 2022) – An infant was killed Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Harris County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 a.m., February 13, in the 12000 block of West Little Road near Cunningham Road.

Authorities said a tow truck, which had a vehicle in tow, was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a Nissan that was stopped at a red light.

The tow truck then dragged the Nissan into a ditch.

The vehicle that was being towed flipped upside down into a ditch.

Esbeidy Linares and an infant boy were in the rear seat of the Nissan at the time of the crash. They were both taken to Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center with serious injuries, where the infant later died. He has been identified as 5-month-old Ulysses Romero.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.

The tow truck driver, 39-year-old Jose Luna, was arrested and taken into custody. He has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault with serious bodily injury.

The Nissan driver was identified as Melvin Romero.

The crash remains under investigation.
