Mark Becker, 63, and Nancy Becker, 66, were on the motorcycle and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Weise was arrested and charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony.

The police are investigating the crash.

We pass our condolences to the family and friends of Mark Becker and Nancy Becker.

Most motorcycle crashes are caused by negligent drivers who don’t keep a proper lookout or fail to yield the right-of-way. Because motorcyclists are vulnerable, their injuries are usually severe, often suffering from road rash, broken bones, brain injuries, amputations, or spinal cord injuries. In some cases, the accident results in death.
