Abdel Pastor Killed in Kyle Two-Vehicle Crash at Interstate 35 and Kohlers Crossing; Sonja Marinkovic Arrested

Kyle, Texas – A man was killed on Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Kyle, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around midnight, on February 2, at the intersection of I-35 Southbound Frontage Road and Kohlers Crossing.

Police said Sonja Marinkovic, 45, was driving her Mazda SUV at a high rate of speed in wet conditions when she rear-ended a red Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Abdel Pastor, was taken to Ascension Seton Hays Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Marinkovic showed multiple signs of being intoxicated and was taken to the hospital for an evaluation and a blood test. She has been charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.

The police are investigating the crash.
