Injuries Sustained in Dallas County Collision on Interstate 20 near Lancaster Road

Dallas County, Texas (May 27, 2023) – Injuries were reported after a traffic collision on an interstate in southern Dallas County on Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The crash happened on Interstate 20 on May 21.

Authorities said an 18-wheeler and at least one passenger vehicle collided in the the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20. The 18-wheeler overturned after the crash.

An air ambulance was dispatched to the crash site. The extent of the injuries sustained in the accident was not immediately available.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
