Regina Ann Benavides ID’d as Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Pinn Road near Cable Elementary School
San Antonio, Texas (April 19, 2019) – The woman who was fatally hit by a car Wednesday morning near Cable Elementary School has been identified as Regina Ann Benavides, 41, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened at about 7:00 a.m. April 17, in the 1706 block of Pinn Road.
Police said Benavides was crossing the street in a dark and unlit area when she was hit by a car.
The car driver didn’t see her and stopped after the accident.
Benavides was taken to University Hospital where she was later declared dead.
The San Antonio police are investigating the crash.
