One Killed in Jacksonville Motorcycle Accident at Jowell Street and Highway 69

Jacksonville, Texas (August 13, 2023) – One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Jacksonville, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened on August 12, at the intersection of Jowell Street and Highway 69.

Officials said a pickup truck allegedly attempted to go across Highway 69 at Jowell Street when it collided with a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The officials are investigating the crash.
