One Killed in Denton Motorcycle Crash on Loop 288

Denton, Texas (April 15, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was killed on Wednesday in a motorcycle crash in Denton.

The deadly crash was reported around 8:00 a.m., on April 14, in the 1200 block of South Loop 288. 

Authorities said one of the involved vehicles was a motorcycle. A van flipped on its side following the crash.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The crash closed North Loop 288 at Spencer Road for about three hours. Traffic was diverted at Spencer. The lanes have since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
