19-Year-Old Killed in Lockhart Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 142/San Antonio Street

Lockhart, Texas (March 24, 2022) – A 19-year-old man was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Lockhart, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:45 a.m., March 22, on State Highway 142/San Antonio Street.

Police said a driver fell asleep while driving, went off the roadway, and hit the man who was walking along the roadway.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

No additional information was provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
