Bicyclist Killed in Crash on I-27 in Abernathy
One Killed in Abernathy Bicycle Accident on Interstate 27
Abernathy, Texas (July 16, 2021) – According to a local news source, one person was killed early Friday morning in a bicycle accident in Abernathy.
The deadly accident happened around 5:43 a.m., on Interstate 27.
According to the report, three vehicles, including a bicycle, were involved in the collision.
The bicyclist was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.
The crash closed southbound I-27, and traffic was diverted onto the frontage roads.
An investigation is underway.
