2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash Involving Greyhound Bus on U.S. Highway 59 in Nacogdoches

Two Injured in Nacogdoches Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Greyhound Bus on U.S. Highway 59

Nacogdoches, Texas (October 28, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday night in a wrong-way crash involving a passenger bus, north of Nacogdoches, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. October 27, on U.S. Highway 59, between Farm to Market Road 343 and the ‘Garrison Y.’

Authorities said a car was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway when it hit a northbound Greyhound bus.

The car was pinned under the bus following the crash.

The driver and passenger in the car had to be extricated. The victims’ conditions were not immediately disclosed.

None of the passengers on the bus were injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
