4 Killed, 2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on SH 130 in SE Austin

Four Killed and Two Injured in SE Austin Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 130 

Austin, Texas (December 4, 2023) – Four people were killed and two others were injured Sunday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in southeast Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash occurred around 4:15 p.m., December 3, in the 10500 block of the South State Highway 130 service road northbound, near Maha Loop Road.

Officials said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.

Four people were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

An adult was airlifted to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. Another person involved in the crash refused treatment.

No other information was provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
