Driver Killed in Crash with Semi-Truck on I-35 in Hill County

One Killed in Hill County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Hill County, Texas (July 7, 2020) – One person was killed Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Hill County, according to DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 7:00 p.m. July 6, on Interstate 35 northbound near mile-marker 359.

DPS said a Hyundai Accent hydroplaned, lost control and was struck by a truck tractor semi-trailer.

The Hyundai driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
