Man Critically Injured in Austin Hit-and-Run Crash on Paisano Trail

Austin, Texas (August 31, 2023) – A man was critically injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in South Austin, according to the police.

The accident happened around 12:24 a.m., August 27, in the 3400 block of Paisano Trail.

Police said the man was walking his two dogs westbound when a vehicle hit him. 

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to a local hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries and was listed in critical condition.

The vehicle was described as a four-door sedan, possibly gold or beige.
