Officer, Civilian Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Shepherd Drive in Houston

Officer and Civilian Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Shepherd Drive at Eigel Street

Houston, Texas (November 19, 2020) – An HPD officer and a civilian were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Houston, according to police.

The crash happened around 11:43 p.m., November 17, in the 1600 block of Shepherd Drive at Eigel Street.

Police said the officer was responding to a domestic disturbance when her vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection.

The officer’s vehicle didn’t have lights and sirens activated at the time of the crash.

The officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The other driver was taken to the hospital with a cut to his head. He was listed in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
