Courtney Malone ID’d as Woman Killed in Fort Worth Hit-and-Run Skateboard Crash on Interstate 20

Fort Worth, Texas (December 27, 2019) – The female skateboarder who was killed in an alleged hit-and-run crash on Christmas night in Fort Worth has been identified as Courtney Malone,24, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The crash happened just before 9:30 p.m., December 25, in the eastbound lanes of the I-20 service road.

Police said Malone was skateboarding on the service road when she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Malone was rushed to the hospital, where she died Thursday morning.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
