At Least 1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 277 in Hawley

At Least One Person Injured in Hawley Crash on Highway 277

Hawley, Texas (October 5, 2022) – At least one person was sent to a hospital fooling a two-vehicle collision in Hawley on Tuesday night, according to a press release by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, on Highway 277, about a mile from Clearfork Baptist Church.

As per the DPS report, an SUV and a pickup truck were involved in the crash. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage upon the impact.

At least one patient was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The intersection of CR 320 and Highway 277 was blocked following the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
