At Least 1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 69 in Houston

At Least One Person Killed in Houston Crash on Interstate 69 at Polk Street

Houston, Texas (July 9, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a fiery crash early Saturday morning in Houston, according to authorities.

The deadly accident was reported at about 1:43 a.m. on Interstate 69 at Polk Street.

Authorities said two vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate. One of the vehicles caught on fire after the collision.

At least one person died in the crash.

Northbound lanes of Interstate 69 were shut down following the wreck.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
