Starr County, Texas (July 7, 2022) – According to the authorities, a woman was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Starr County.

The fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m., on July 5, on Woods Bros. Road near La Sagunada Road.

Authorities said a brown Nissan Altima was traveling southbound when it collided with a northbound red Hummer H3.

The Nissan driver, 27-year-old Pamela Pena of Rio Grande City, was taken to McAllen Medical Hospital, where she later died.

A passenger in the Nissan and the Hummer driver were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
