Fort Worth, Texas – A burglar was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday morning in Fort Worth, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened on Interstate 30.

According to the report, the burglar fled from police on foot, leading to a chase. He tried to avoid police by running onto the interstate and was fatally struck by a car. His name has not been released.

No additional information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
