Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Bissonnet Street in Houston

56-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Bissonnet Street

Houston, Texas (July 21, 2020) – A 56-year-old man was fatally hit by a vehicle Sunday evening in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened at about 5:25 p.m. on July 19, at 9200 Bissonnet Street.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
