Two Killed in Southeast Oak Cliff Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20 near South Lancaster Road

Oak Cliff, Texas (May 12, 2020) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash Monday night in southeast Oak Cliff, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash was reported around 10:19 p.m. May 11, on westbound Interstate 20 near South Lancaster Road.

According to the deputies, the driver of a maroon Saturn Ion said that he was driving in the right lane of the interstate near the exit for State Highway 342, while an 18-wheeler was traveling in the center lane next to him. A white car cut in front of the big rig and struck the front of the Saturn. 

The impact caused the Saturn to spin, and it collided with the big rig. 

The white car fled the scene.

The drivers of a Lincoln Town car and a Lexus ES 300 stopped to help and were hit by a green Kia Sorento.

The driver of the Kia also fled the scene.

The Lincoln caught fire in the crash.

The two people in the Lincoln Town car were killed in the crash.

The Lexus slid and came to a stop in the left barrier facing the wrong way against the Saturn.

The crash remains under investigation.
