Khalil Williams Killed in Hallsville Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20

Hallsville, Texas (February 17, 2022) – A man was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash just west of Hallsville, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 8:40 p.m., on February 15, on Interstate 20.

DPS said Damion K. Williams, 40, of Duson, Louisiana, was driving a truck-trailer westbound in the outside lane of the interstate while Khalil D. Williams, 26, of North Richland Hills, was driving an SUV approaching from the rear at a high rate of speed while weaving from lane to lane around traffic.

Williams made an aggressive lane change and rear-ended the trailer, which was being towed by the truck trailer.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
