Antonio Lopez Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at South Flores and Division

San Antonio, Texas (July 15, 2020) – The man who was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio’s Southside has been identified as Antonio Lopez, 21, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred at about 11:45 p.m. on July 11, in the area of South Flores and Division.

Police said Lopez was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Lopez was found unresponsive on the street and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Witnesses said they heard a loud bang and a vehicle taking off at a high raid of speed.

No further details were provided.

The TID is investigating the crash.
