3 Injured in Double Hit-and-Run Accident at Gulf Bank and North Freeway in Houston

Three Injured in Houston Hit-and-Run Accident at Gulf Bank and North Freeway
Houston, Texas (April 22, 2019) – Three people were injured last week Monday morning in a double hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to deputies.
The crash happened just after 3:00 a.m. April 15, in the area of Gulf Bank and North Freeway.
Deputies said a Dodge pickup truck and a Buick collided near Airline and Gulf Bank and both drivers fled the scene.
An officer in the area saw the crash and followed the pickup truck which eventually crashed into a Nissan Maxima, and fled the scene again. The pickup continued fleeing until it crashed into a power pole. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot, but she was later arrested.
The Nissan driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in the pickup, an adult and a teenager, were taken to the hospital in unknown condition. The Buick driver was later arrested.
The deputies are investigating the crash.
