Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 281 in San Antonio

One Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on U.S. Highway 281 near Mogford Road

San Antonio, Texas (December 30, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in San Antonio’s South Side, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred around 9:00 p.m., December 29, on U.S. Highway 281, south of Mogford Road.

Deputies said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was traveling on the highway.

The driver left the scene but later returned.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The driver could be facing a charge of failure to stop and render aid, according to officers.

An investigation is underway.
