Two Die in Fatal Wichita Falls 18-Wheeler Accident on U.S. 287

Wichita Falls, Texas (April 24, 2019) – A fatal crash involving two big rigs left two people dead early Wednesday morning in Wichita Falls.
According to a police report, the wreck happened just after 2 a.m. on U.S. 287 Westbound near the Rifle Range Road exit.
The authorities said two 18-wheelers were traveling northbound when they were involved in a collision.
The impact caused both trucks to catch fire.
Two occupants of one truck were killed.  The driver of the second truck was not injured.
The authorities did not release the identities of the parties involved in this accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
