Christopher Hayslet Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-35 North at Walzem Road in San Antonio

43-Year-Old Christopher Hayslet Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on I-35 North at Walzem Road

San Antonio, Texas (April 17, 2020) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in San Antonio has been identified as Christopher Hayslet,43, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. April 16, in the area of the I-35 north access road and Walzem Road.

Police said Hayslet was driving a sedan eastbound on Walzem Road when he crashed into a dark-colored SUV that was southbound on the access road.

Witnesses said the SUV driver might have run a red light prior to the crash.

Hayslet was killed in the crash. His female passenger was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition.

The SUV driver was taken to a local hospital with neck and head injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
