Man on Scooter Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on South Santa Rosa in San Antonio

25-Year-Old Man Injured in San Antonio Scooter Accident on South Santa Rosa

San Antonio, Texas (July 5, 2021) – According to the police, a 25-year-old man on a scooter was injured early Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio.

The accident happened around 12:40 a.m., in the 100 block of South Santa Rosa, near North Flores Street and Interstate 10.

Police said the man on a scooter was exiting Market Square when he was struck by a sedan.

The man was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with a broken leg.

The sedan driver fled the scene and was found about a block away. They are facing failing to stop and render aid charges.

The police are conducting the investigation.
