Houston, Texas (October 8, 2019) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident last month in Houston, according to a local news source.
The collision took place around 5:00 a.m. on September 13, at Bellfort and Belgard.
As per the report, Maria Carrillo was walking across the street along with her husband, Curpertino Castillo, when she was hit by an eastbound white SUV.
The SUV driver fled the scene after the accident.
Maria was killed in the crash.
The SUV is expected to have heavy front end damage and is missing a side mirror that was found at the scene.
