Renzo Olan-Flores Killed in Katy Two-Vehicle Crash at Franz Road and Westgreen Boulevard; llianna Zepeda Arrested

Katy, Texas (February 7, 2022) – A UH student was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Katy, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident occurred on February 6, at the intersection of Franz Road and Westgreen Boulevard.

Authorities said 24-year-old Renzo Olan-Flores was driving a Mazda eastbound when he entered the intersection. llianna Zepeda was driving a gray 2017 Ford Fusion northbound on Westgreen when he ran a red light and crashed into the Mazda.

The impact caused the Mazda to flip.

Olan-Flores was killed in the crash.

A  GoFundMe Page has been created to help with Renzo’s funeral costs.

Zepeda walked away from the crash and came back showing signs of intoxication. She is facing charges for failure to stop and render aid resulting in death and intoxication manslaughter.

The crash remains under investigation.
