Woman Killed in Channelview Crash on East Freeway at Beltway

Channelview, Texas (March 15, 2023) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Channelview, according to authorities.

The fatal crash occurred at around 3:41 a.m. Friday, March 10, in the 15384 block of East Freeway outbound at the Beltway.

Authorities said the crash involved an 18-wheeler and two other vehicles. Details on what led up to the accident were not available.

A woman in one of the vehicles was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The crash caused backups for three hours.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
