Woman Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on East Slaton Highway

Lubbock, Texas (April 5, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in Lubbock, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident happened around 12:00 a.m. in the 4500 block of East Slaton Highway.

Authorities said the woman was struck by an eastbound vehicle on the highway.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

The Major Crash Unit investigation is underway.
