Pilot Injured in Montgomery County Helicopter Crash near FM 494 and Antique Lane
Montgomery County, Texas (May 5, 2019) – One person was injured on Saturday after a helicopter crashed in Montgomery County, according to the deputies.
The crash happened on Saturday, May 4, at a church parking lot near FM 494 and Antique Lane.
Officials said the helicopter was reportedly at 1500 feet when it experienced an in-flight emergency and crashed.
The pilot, who was the only person in the helicopter, sustained injuries in the crash but is expected to be okay.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
