Person Seriously Injured in Austin Pedestrian Accident off of Brandt Road and East Slaughter Lane

Austin, Texas (August 24, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle late Tuesday night in Southeast Austin, according to authorities.

The pedestrian crash happened at around 10:49 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, at the ramp from Brandt Road onto East Slaughter Lane.

Authorities said a vehicle hit the pedestrian off of Brandt Road and East Slaughter Lane.

The pedestrian was taken to South Austin Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. The name of the patient and their condition were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
