1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on SH 45 in NW Austin

One Killed in NW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 45

Austin, Texas – One person was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Northwest Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 6:47 a.m., February 5, in the westbound lanes of N. SH 45, between Parmer and US Hwy 183.

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash closed all westbound lanes of SH 45 from Lake Creek Parkway to the end of the toll.

The police are investigating the crash.
