Man Dies in Corpus Christi Motorcycle Accident on Highway 286 near Horne Road

Corpus Christi, Texas (August 18, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle collision on Saturday night in Corpus Christi, according to police.

The crash happened on Highway 286 near Horne Road at about 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 17.

Police said a 51-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on the highway when a vehicle struck him.

The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police said alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.

The incident is under investigation.
