Austin, TX – The Austin PD has identified the driver who died on November 23 from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle traffic collision at an Austin intersection early November as 34-year-old Marianne Ashley Agusto.
APD said Marianne Agusto was driving a vehicle that collided with another at the intersection of Collinwood West Drive and Dessau Road at about 8:02 p.m. on November 6.
Agusto was suffered critical, life-threatening injuries and was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center where she died on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
UPDATE: Austin, TX – The driver who was seriously injured after two vehicles collided at an intersection in Austin early last month is dead, according to Austin Police Department.
Austin police said the accident happened at about 8:02 p.m. on November 6 at the intersection of Collinwood West Drive and Dessau Road.
According to APD, two vehicles collided and one of the driver was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained hospitalized until November 23 when she succumbed to her injuries.

Austin, TX – One person was hospitalized in critical condition following a multi-traffic collision at an intersection in Austin on Wednesday night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS).
The accident occurred at around 8:02 p.m. at the intersection of Collinwood West Drive and Dessau Road.
Austin Fire Department responded to the scene and found one person trapped inside their vehicle after multiple vehicles collided.
The firefighters extricated the trapped person from the vehicle.
ATCEMS medics declared the adult patient a trauma alert and transported them to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the accident was not immediately established.
The incident remains under investigation.
