Abbigale Spritzer Critically Injured in Pedestrian Accident on East Riverside Drive in Austin

Abbigale Spritzer ID’d as Woman Critically Injured in Austin Pedestrian Accident on East Riverside Drive

Austin, Texas (February 2, 2019) – The woman who was critically injured Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Austin has been identified as Abbigale Spritzer, 34, according to a local news source.
The accident was reported at about 8:31 p.m. January 26, in the 2100 block of East Riverside Drive.
Police said Spritzer was crossing a crosswalk when a vehicle struck her and fled the scene. The impact threw her into the air before she landed into a second vehicle.
Spritzer was hospitalized with major injuries at Dell Seton Medical Center.
The involved driver fled the scene after the accident. The police are looking for the suspect, who was operating a vehicle suspected to be a dark-colored midsize SUV.
Eastbound E Riverside was closed following the crash and was reopened at about 10:04 p.m.
The police are investigating the crash.
