Three Hospitalized after Austin 10-Vehicle Crash on MoPac Expressway near US Highway 183
Austin, Texas (April 1, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning in Austin, officials said.
The crash occurred at an unspecified time, on the MoPac Expressway just south of US Highway 183.
Officials said the collision involved ten vehicles including an 18-wheeler which flipped onto its side after the crash.
Three people were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center in unknown condition. Three other people declined treatment.
All the southbound general purpose lanes of MoPac Expressway were closed following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
