16-Year-Old Bicyclist Hit, Killed by Car on Magnolia Boulevard in Magnolia

16-Year-Old Boy Killed in Magnolia Bicycle Accident on Magnolia Boulevard near David Lane

Magnolia, Texas (July 6, 2021) – According to the police, a 16-year-old boy was killed in a bicycle accident Monday night in Magnolia.

The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m., July 5, on Magnolia Boulevard near David Lane.

Police said the teen was riding his bicycle and was wearing dark clothing with no lights or reflectors on the bike when he was struck by a vehicle.

The teen was found about 15 feet away from the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Officers said that part of the road has very little lighting and a 55 mph speed limit.

The car driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No other details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
