1 Killed, 3 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on IH-35 in San Antonio

One Killed and Three Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near West Cesar Chavez Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas – One person was killed and three others were injured early Saturday morning in a wrong-way crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 2:00 a.m., January 13, on IH 35 South near West Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

Police said a 25-year-old woman was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of the interstate when her vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle.

The passenger in the vehicle that was struck was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered multiple injuries in the crash. A third passenger sustained critical injuries. All three were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The 25-year-old woman was arrested for DWI/intoxication assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
