One Hospitalized After China Grove Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 87 near FM 1516

China Grove, Texas (July 18, 2020) – One person was seriously injured Friday morning in a hit-and-run car crash in China Grove, according to deputies.

The crash happened on July 17, on Highway 87 near FM 1516.

Deputies said a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck ran a red light and struck two pickup trucks that were stopped at the light.

The Dodge driver, a New Mexico man, fled the scene on foot.

One of the other two drivers was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

An investigation is underway.
