1 Killed, 1 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Washington Avenue in Navasota

One Killed and One Injured in Navasota Two-Vehicle Crash on Washington Avenue at Lasalle Street

Navasota, Texas (May 26, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a wrong-way crash Monday afternoon in Navasota, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred on May 24, in the 300 block of Washington Avenue and Lasalle Street.

Police said a vehicle entered into oncoming traffic, crossed the yellow lane divider, and crashed head-on into a pickup truck.

The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup driver was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Bryan for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
